It is born with 14 fingers and 20 toes
Akshat Saxena is one year an Indian little boy which presents a characteristic at the very least surprising. It indeed was born with 34 fingers!
More precisely, the young small child is equipped with 14 fingers to the hands, and 20 toes. Thanks to the inscription of his parents on Internet a few months ago, Akshat entered Guinness of the Records today.
Up to that point, the record was held by a young Chinese of six years who had 15 fingers of hand and 16 toes. This genetic disorder is called “polydactyly”, and involves the growth of many fingers of hands or feet.
That presents also certain anomalies. Thus, Akshat Saxena underwent many operations since its birth, in particular to reduce its numbers of fingers, but also to constitute an inch to him.
